Dear Family,
This week was pretty good, our new investigator F____ is
still doing good. We drove to Banja Luka on Wednesday night, and had mission leadership
council on Thursday. After the council, we drove back to Banja Luka with Elder
Širković. We normally go on exchanges with the AP's once in the transfer, but
since the AP's are also training a new Elder this transfer, Elder Širković is
just staying with us in a threesome for a few days. We've been having a pretty
good time.
To answer Aubreys questions, we had a pretty good Halloween.
On actual Halloween we had the meeting in Zagreb, but the day after we had a
big Halloween party at the church. Halloween isn't really a thing here, people
here know what it is, and it's growing a little, but there aren't trick or
treaters or anything. The Halloween party was super good though. A few of our
members and investigators came, and a bunch of our english class students. We
played games and had food and treats and decorated cookies and stuff. It was
super fun.
They have plenty of places where I could buy a coat, and
maybe just putting money in my account would be good, but it's still nice to
get packages and letters and stuff in the mail, even if it's just something
small.
The principle of pressing forward is something I've learned
a lot being on a mission. Even if you're tired and don't want to do something,
if you do it anyway you'll be blessed.
