Also Today I finished the first Christmas tie.
Dad asked if
maybe I could tell a little more detail about what we do and stuff. So, Monday is our Pday, normally we wake up and go to the temple first thing in
the morning. Today though we didn't, the temple is closed till the new year for
cleaning, but after lunch today we got to go and clean for a couple hours. We
pretty much just cleaned the mens lockers and the initiatory rooms, it was way
cool. On Tuesdays we have a devotional at night were a general authority or
other big church leader comes and talks, afterwards we have a testimony meeting
with our district and a member of our branch presidency where we talk about the
devotional. All the other days except Sunday, and tuesday mornings, we do
pretty much the same stuff. For an hour a day we have personal study (normally
in the morning) where we are only allowed to study out of the standard works,
preach my gospel and the missionary library. A lot of peole tend to fall asleap
during personal study. Depending on the day we also have either 1 or 2 class
times which are each 3 hours long. 1 hour of class is for teaching our
progressing investigators (who are just our teacher acting). 1 hour of class we
learn how to teach and other gospel principles and stuff, and 1 hour we learn
or review language or sometimes do other things the teacher has planned. In
addition to class we also have an hour of dedicated language study on our own
every day. We also have computer lab time where we can do language excercises
and stuff and we usually have a bit of extra time where we can study or do
whatever we want. Most of the day we spend in our classroom. We have to be up
by 6:30 every day and we usually have our planning time in the classroom at
7:00. We have a service project on Wednesdays, cleaning buildings
at 6:15. We have an hour of gym every day and after, we get 1/2 hour to go back
and shower. Other than that we aren't allowed to be in our residence (except
maybe to go get stuff we left) until 9:30 at night. We also have 35 minutes for
breakfast and 50 for lunch and dinner, but other than that we are in our class
the whole time.
That's all the time I have for now.
