Cool Colisseum

This week was another great week! We started it off by going to a town called Pula, with the Babbels, for Pday, they have this cool old Roman colisseum that's one of the most complete ones still standing or something, it was totally awesome. They also had some other cool old stuff from Roman times, that we looked at.

Right after we got back from Pula we had a lesson with one of our investigators named J... We brought one of our members, named E.., with us. We taught about the plan of salvation and the gospel of Christ and stuff. At the end of the lesson I went for the baptismal commit. They had tried it before, and she kind of just said no, but this time she did say that she'd pray about it. This week we also had a bunch of other good lessons and stuff.
On Thursday we had a zone training up in Zagreb and it was super good. President Rowe really emphasized vision, and how it's important to remember that vision isn't reality, so we shouldn't let how things are right now hold us back. Also that we should see people how they can be, instead of how they are now. Then he talked about the steps of how to make our vision a reality. First you have to have a vision, then you need to set goals to help you reach or build up to that vision. Then you need to make plans to accomplish those goals. next you need to study and prepare so you can execute your plan. Then you need to schedule how and when you're going to do those things. Then you need to do it, and then after, evaluate how it went and what you can do better. We've started following that plan it our planning and studying and missionary work, and it's really helped. We've been setting high goals and actually planning out all of the steps of how to achieve them. We've also been focusing a lot this week on getting members involved in missionary work and getting there help in finding new people to teach. For our Friday night activity last week we comitted everyone to try to share the gospel with one person, and then this last week followed up on that and also taught them about the vision thing we learned at zone training.
Last June they had a big 40th anniversary of the first baptism in former Yugoslavia (Krešemir Čošić). There the Croatia district president (kind of like the stake president) said that there would be a stake in Croatia by 2020, so we also talked about that. We are still a long way from having enough members for a stake, but we talked about how we can do it with member's help, because currently there are only 16 missionaries (not including seniors) in Croatia, so we really need the member's help.
Last night were just out tracting, and we met this lady who had 6 kids, and she really wanted us to come back (like really, she told us to came back like 18 times) so we're going back tomorrow morning.
Also something cool I figured out this week (I didn't know this before because I didn't see all of the conference sessions) but in President Eyring's priesthood session talk he tells a story about a "new priest in a country where the missionaries just arrived", the story he told was about a kid in my mission. President Rowe also said that he talked to President Eyring over skype before conference, talking to him about that story, so that's cool.
You guys are awesome.

The tunnels underneath the arena where they kept weapons and animals and stuff for the
gladiator fights are still open, and they built a little museum down there.
