Zone Conference

This week has been pretty good. A new senior couple just arrived in Sarajevo, the Shephards. We picked them up from the Sarajevo airport on Wednesday, and we spent a large part of Wednesday and Thursday helping them out with stuff and showing them around.
On Friday we had Zone conference. For our zone conferences the Montenegro Elders have to drive up the night before and stay the night at our apartment (because it's a 4.5-5 hour drive depending on traffic and time at the border crossing) and President and Sister Rowe usually stay the night before in a hotel or fly in if there is a plane early enough the morning before the conference. The assistants drive the night before to Banja Luka and stay the night with the elders there, and then they wake up and drive early in the morning (it's a 3.5 hour drive), and then it's just a 2.5 hour drive for the Tuzla Sisters and senior couple, and the Elders have to take a 3.5 hour bus.
We taught U__ this week and it was a really good lesson. There is a member here who is visiting for a few months named J_____. He is Bosnian but now lives in Germany. He was baptized there a few months ago, but he was investigating the church since 2002. He talked to U__ and it helped a lot. I really liked reading your testimony this week because it kind of sounds a lot like mine.
